Excel Introduction: Creating Basic Spreadsheets

Excel Introduction: Basic Calculations and Formulas

Build confidence using formulas and functions in Excel. Topics include mathematical operations, AutoSum, common functions (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, MIN, MAX), relative and absolute references, and formula auditing tools for troubleshooting and error checking. 

Excel Intermediate: More Advanced Formulas and Functions

Develop advanced calculation skills using IF, AND, OR and nested functions, lookup functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH, plus date and time calculations. Learn how to create more powerful and dynamic spreadsheets. 

Excel Intro – Intermediate: Using Charts in Excel

Transform data into professional visual reports by creating and formatting charts. Learn how to customise chart elements, manage source data, add trendlines, use Goal Seek with charts, and export charts to Word and PowerPoint.

Excel Intermediate: Organising Workbooks and Worksheets

Explore advanced workbook management techniques including linking worksheets and workbooks, data consolidation, conditional formatting, data validation, worksheet protection, change tracking, comments, grouping, outlining, and What-If Analysis tools such as Goal Seek and Scenarios. 

Excel Intermediate: Databases and Pivot Tables

Learn how to manage and analyse large datasets using sorting, filtering, subtotals, database functions, and PivotTables. Create PivotCharts, group data, build running totals, import external data, and generate insightful management reports. 

Excel Advanced: Introduction to Macros

Discover how macros can automate repetitive tasks in Excel. Learn about the Developer tab, recording macros, assigning macros to buttons and shortcuts, saving macros, understanding VBA code, and creating simple custom VBA functions. 

Excel VBA: Recording and Basic Editing of Macros

Duration:

This is a Half-day   Creating Basic Spreadsheets Course. The course starts at 09:30 and runs until 12:30.

Alternate timings can be arranged upon request. The course can be held on a date that suits you.
