Crystal Reports is a business intelligence application, currently marketed to small businesses by SAP SE. It is used to design and generate reports from a wide range of data sources

Crystal Reports allows users to graphically design data connection(s) and report layouts. In the Database Expert, users can select and link tables from a wide variety of data sources, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server databases, Microsoft Access databases, BusinessObjects Enterprise business views, and local file-system information.

Report designers can place fields from these sources on the report design surface, and can also deploy them in custom formulas (using either BASIC or Crystal’s own syntax), which are then placed on the design surface. Formulas can be evaluated at several phases during report generation as specified by the developer.

Audience:

This course is designed for new users of SQL or self-taught users. The course covers all aspects of querying your data using SQL with MS Access as a platform.

Prerequisite:

No Prior experience or knowledge of SQL is required to attend this course. However, use or understanding of MS Access Queries or similar would be beneficial. You must have good basic windows, keyboard and mouse skills.

Duration:

This is a 2 day SQL Introduction course. The course starts at 09:30 and runs until 16:30. Alternate timings can be arranged upon request. The course can be held on a date that suits you.

Location:

Our SQL Introduction course can be run onsite, at our training venue near Kings Cross (London) or any preferred location in the UK or Europe.
