Dr Thakore

Dr Thakore is a multidisciplinary scientist contributing to business and supply chain management, carbon and environment management, project management, strategic management, and sustainability. Through various roles in academic and business, she has established her expertise in various contemporary issues of sustainable business management and governance, delivering training, auditing, consultation, and research tailored to her clients’ needs.

Audits/Reviews/Adviser

  • Lead ISO 14001 audits – 12 SMEs within construction, manufacturing and service sectors in UK
  • The Mayor of London’s Green Procurement Code 2008-9: Conducted third party review for 5 large organisations. All were awarded appropriate level Awards (Cancer Research UK – Gold, Skanska – Silver, London Borough of Newham – Silver, London Borough of Lambeth – Silver, London Borough of Bexley – Bronze).
  • Waste recycling education officer for the Waste Watch (2008) and the Cheltenham Centre for Change (2006). Advising household on collection and recycling household waste and educating residents.
