Microsoft Project is a project management program. It is an essential tool for every project manager. No project is too short or too long for MS Project. With durations spanning from minutes, through days, weeks, quarters to years, every project, from cooking a dinner to building the Olympic Stadium can be managed using this software.

Project is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget, and analysing workloads.

On the advanced level, Project can be set up to schedule multiple projects within the company, sharing the resources. This will ensure that the company resources won’t be over allocated, helping all the projects stay on track.
